This 50-storey building is made up of glass, gold-colored stainless steel, and high-quality aluminum. Interestingly, there is a 116 sq meters switchable smart-glass panel placed on the floor which changes from translucent to transparent.

When we talk about Dubai Frame’s construction, it was designed by the award-winning architect Fernando Donis who has already designed two other distinctive buildings in Dubai, namely, Dubai’s Porsche Design Towers, and the Dubai Renaissance Tower.

The Dubai Frame is open daily from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm, on both weekdays and weekends. There is a separate fee for children to enter into the Dubai Frame. Children at the age of 0 – 3 years can enter freely. Children aged between 4 – 12 years are charged as per child fare. However, children who are above 12 years of age are considered as adults and charged as per the adult fare.

The expert design was conceived by a Mexican architect, Fernando Donis. The design was selected as the winner of the ThyssenKrupp Elevator Architecture Award. It is the largest frame in the world, towering above others at the height of 150m and spanning at a length of 95m.

This inspiring concept was meant to frame the incredible skyline of Dubai instead of adding another edifice to it. The older, more traditional city of Dubai can be seen merging with the futuristic city through the frame. It has a glass walkway at the top, accessible by an elevator. There is a museum at the bottom of the structure depicting the modernization of the grand city of Dubai.
