How to reach:
Mcleodganj lies at a distance of around 500 km from Delhi or about 250 km from Chandigarh. You can either reach by your own car or by using public transport such as train, bus or air.
The best option to reach Mcleod Ganj from Delhi is to catch the overnight Volvo. The second and the cheapest option to reach McleodGanj or Triund is to travel by train. One can take a train to Pathankot which takes around 6-7 hours.

The price is inclusive of camping one night each in Triund and Laka Glacier, respectively, meals, sleeping bags, kitchen staff, camping toilets, a highly-professional mountain guide, and all required forest permissions.
No, you shouldn’t. The trekking route to Triund and Laka Glacier is considered one of the smoothest routes despite the magnificent beauty and sense of exhilaration it offers. The trek is perfect for novice trekkers and doesn’t include any difficulty, except for a couple of kilometres towards the end. Even then, it is fairly easy.
However, if you suffer from altitude sickness specifically, you should carry your prescribed medication.
Even though the trekking route is fairly easy, it is best to pack light but pack right. It is bound to feel cold when you are surrounded by the snowclad glaciers or when you camp at night. Aside from the special clothing and trekking gears, we suggest the following

The trek to Triund and Laka Glacier is considered extremely easy and suitable for amateur trekkers. However, if you haven’t ever been on a trek, we suggest:
-Start walking every day for at least 30-45 minutes
-Do a lot of cardio training focussed on your legs (Eg: cycling, swimming, squats, and lunges) -Climb stairs whenever you can
-Practise how to use walking poles to take the pressure off your knees and offer additional support
-Train with a backpack (preferably with the weight that you plan on carrying for your trek)
